đ„ Summit Fuel Stir-Fry
đ§ My Goal:
Picture this: Iâm starving and need to eat ASAP. I needed a quick, no-fuss meal under 20 minutes that would:
Leave me completely full (hunger level = zero)
Fuel tomorrowâs weighted backpack workout
Be gentle on my stomachâno chili heat or greasy sauces
I nearly ate out, but realized Iâd have more control over my meal at home. I used 100% freezer available đ ingredients and ended up creating something surprisingly perfectâand now officially a go-to travel training meal.
đ§ What I Used:
7.9 oz frozen cooked chicken breast
3 cups frozen seasoned veggies (brussels sprouts, carrots, broccoli, etc.)
1 cup frozen pre-cooked Spanish rice
I sautĂ©ed the chicken until golden, added the veggies, and let them caramelize just past done (almost burned but in the best way). The rice went into the microwave slightly longer than the instructions, spread thin on a plate for crispy edges. It reminded me of socarratânot quite paella-grade, but good enough with a little imagination. đ
đïž Simplify & Summitâą Takeaway
This is now a formula Iâll repeat everywhere I travel:
8 oz protein + 3 cups frozen veg + 1 cup carb = Fast, healthy, satisfying fuel.
Choose your protein (chicken, tuna, tofu), your veggies (any clean frozen mix), and your carb (rice, couscous, potatoes). Heat. Combine. Eat. Itâs adventure life made simple.
đĄ Notes:
All my ingredients were already seasonedânext time, Iâll add spinach or mushrooms to dilute the salt.
I prefer foodâs natural flavor, so I go easy on seasoning. Add your own spin!
